A new running experience is unfolding in Singapore. On July 18, ANTA will introduce the ANTA FOLD running shoe for both women and men at FOLDED IN SG, a launch event at the ANTA store in VivoCity built around running, technology, and origami-inspired design.
The morning will begin with a casual 45 minute community run for a friendly start to the day before guests return to VivoCity for breakfast, product trials, and a closer look at the new shoe. From 9:15 AM, the event will move into an origami workshop and ANTA FOLD technology-sharing session, followed by community engagement and shopping from 10:00 AM.

The ANTA FOLD introduces a new generation of structural cushioning inspired by the mechanics of origami engineering. Instead of relying only on the softness of traditional foam, its visible foldable structure is designed to flex with the runner’s movement and balance cushioning, stability, and energy return. Three key features define the experience.
First, the origami-inspired ANTA FOLD cushioning system compresses during landing and rebounds during toe-off, helping absorb impact while creating a responsive transition into the next step.
Second, the lightweight hollowed-out midsole uses visible Waterbomb-inspired folded structures. Different areas of the sole are designed to respond to pressure independently, helping the shoe stay controlled and stable as the foot moves.
Third, the ANTA FOLD is created for everyday commuting and 5 to 10 km urban runs, giving runners a lightweight, cushioned option for regular movement through the city.
Reimagining Singapore Through Origami
Alongside the product introduction, the ANTA VivoCity store will host an origami workshop inspired by Singapore’s architecture.
Participants will create paper versions of recognizable local landmarks while learning how folded geometry shaped the design of the ANTA FOLD. The workshop turns the shoe’s central concept into a hands-on experience, connecting origami engineering with cushioning, movement, and modern urban design.

The ANTA FOLD will be available to purchase at the ANTA VivoCity store following the launch activities on July 18. The first 50 customers to purchase the ANTA FOLD will also receive a limited-edition ANTA FOLD tote bag, while supplies last. Its sculpted, origami-inspired design reflects the same folded visual language as the shoe, making it an exclusive keepsake from the FOLDED IN SG launch.
