KAI HÉLÀ Style Roots, an extension of Kyrie’s first ever lifestyle shoe first launched in August 2024 – KAI Tribe.
This release expands ANTA’s horizons beyond the basketball court, focusing on style
and fashion with deep cultural connections. Designed to bridge heritage and
innovation, the HÉLÀ Style Roots is a bold statement in Kyrie’s line of signature
footwear, blending fashion with personal storytelling.
This shoe was revealed during Kyrie's Asia tour, where he introduced the shoes at
"The Art of Movement" show in Shenyang, China. It is a cultural
tribute to Kyrie’s Native American heritage, specifically the Lakota Sioux
Tribe, merging the powerful symbolism of the Kyrie Shield with the essence of tribal identity.
The HÉLÀ Style Roots delivers a balance of craftsmanship, performance, and cultural
reverence. The shoe features:
A multi-laced design symbolizing individuality and boldness.
Kyrie Shield for balance and stability.
DeepBreath leather, designed for comfort and breathability.

The shoe's four-sectioned sole is a powerful tribute to Kyrie
1. Roots Section: Represents family, symbolized by the presence of father and mother.
2. Court Section: Includes a herringbone pattern and Kyrie’s signature number 11.
3. Tribe Section: Displays the title "Hélà”, Kyrie’s Lakota name which means “Little Mountain”
4. Cultural Section: Incorporates a Native American shaman’s hand, symbolizing healing, along with the Taiji yin-yang symbol, blending Eastern and Western cultural elements.
