Kyrie Irving Brings The Return World Tour to Jakarta
On June 30, 2026, Kyrie Irving brought The Return World Tour to Jakarta, marking the tour's only Southeast Asian stop. Organized in partnership with ANTA Indonesia, the event celebrated basketball culture through a new store opening, fan experiences, community activities, and the debut of the ANTA KAI 3 Series.
The visit brought together athletes, fans, and the local basketball community, reflecting ANTA's continued commitment to growing the game across Southeast Asia.

Jakarta: The Only Southeast Asian Stop
As ANTA Basketball's Chief Creative Officer, Kyrie Irving plays a key role in shaping the future of the ANTA KAI signature line, contributing to both product innovation and creative direction.
Running from June through October, The Return World Tour includes stops in Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Jakarta, Las Vegas, New Jersey, and Macau. Jakarta stands out as the only Southeast Asian destination, highlighting Indonesia's rapidly growing basketball community and ANTA's expanding presence in the region.

Opening a New Home for ANTA Basketball
The day began with the grand opening of ANTA's newest store at Pondok Indah Mall 1, one of South Jakarta's premier shopping destinations, where Kyrie, accompanied by his father, met fans and explored the latest ANTA KAI collection with visitors.
The celebration continued at City Hall, Pondok Indah Mall 3, a popular event venue in South Jakarta, where fans gathered for an exclusive on-stage conversation with Kyrie.
Speaking to the crowd, Kyrie shared that he felt "honored to be surrounded by fans in Jakarta," thanking everyone for the warm welcome and passionate support.

Bringing Basketball Closer to the Community
The event wasn't only about meeting a global basketball icon—it was also about celebrating the local basketball community.
Before the main showcase, five players from the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL)—Rio Disi, Surliyadin, Sandy Ibrahim, Kevin Moses Poetiray, and Althof Satrio—competed in a 3-on-3 exhibition game against a university team from San Beda University in the Philippines.
Later, a team led by Kyrie faced a team led by Indonesian basketball figure Ali Budimansyah in a four-on-four exhibition game, inspiring the next generation of athletes through hands-on coaching, mentorship, and interaction.

A Milestone for Basketball in Indonesia
According to Bola.com, around 1,000 fans gathered for the City Hall event, while ANTARA News highlighted the occasion as an important milestone for Indonesia's basketball community.
By combining a flagship store opening, direct fan engagement, youth basketball activities, and the launch of new signature products, the Jakarta stop became more than a tour appearance—it demonstrated ANTA's long-term investment in growing basketball culture throughout Southeast Asia.

Discover the ANTA KAI 3 Collection
Featured throughout the event was the latest ANTA KAI 3 collection, including the KAI FENG, Triple Black, and the newly released Mother's Love colorways.
The KAI FENG was one of the standout highlights throughout the Jakarta stop, prominently showcased during the store opening and fan event. Kyrie also personally signed several pairs of KAI FENG shoes, which were presented to players from the visiting Philippine university team, creating one of the day's most memorable moments.
Inspired by Kyrie Irving's creativity on and off the court, the ANTA KAI 3 collection combines innovative performance technology with bold storytelling, delivering basketball footwear designed for athletes who play with confidence, creativity, and purpose.
